Bread

Bread is a low fat food packed with minerals including calcium, iron, folic acid and B vitamins it is also low in sugar and salt.

At Brook Bakery we bake breadcakes, rolls, baps and loaves of bread in white, brown, granary and 100% wholemeal but also produce speciality breads such as Spelt & Honey, Low GI Multiseed, Sea Salt & Black Pepper, Tiger bread and Oat and Barley. All our bread is suitable for retailers who wish to sell on and can be packaged and labelled as required. All our loaves can also be sliced if preferred with a farmhouse, tin or square shape available as well as medium, thick and toastie thicknesses. We have many ideal products suitable for the catering, sandwich and food service trades from the standard rolls and cobs to the ploughman and scufflers. Our morning goods range consists of fruit teacakes, scones and iced fingers (Sally Lunn’s) as well as our delicious croissant and Danish pastries.

Sandwiches account for 50% of bread consumption; whether bought or made-at-home. On its own; slathered in butter; hidden under beans or scrambled eggs; torn into salad; wrapped round some chicken tikka … the list is endless………
