Our long-term investment in apprentices is paying off as our latest bakery apprentices begin training with National Food and Drink Training (NFDT) — the training arm of Scottish Bakers — who is a specialist provider of apprenticeships and training programmes to the UK’s food and drink manufacturing industry. They can’t wait to follow in the footsteps of other staff who have learned the trade via the Craft Bakers Association and have recently passed their NVQ L2 in Craft Baking via CBA who work extensively within the bakery sector.
